Eclectic Menagerie Park
This park has quite a collection of steel sculptures that has various shapes and looks. Fun fact: all these are built of pipe materials. The hippo was the first sculpture, and then gradually, the park filled with various sculptures. It is an easy to miss spot located outside the Loop off of 288 South.
Beer Can House
Located in 222 Malone St, Houston, TX 77007, United States, the Beer Can House is a folk art house that is made of 50,000 recycled beer cans.
The Palace Of Golden Orbs
Originally opened to serve the Taoist community, this palace, also known as Chong Hua Sheng Mu Holy Palace, was abandoned in 2008. Now it is nothing more than a giant golden ball in Houston.
Buffalo Bayou Cistern
There is a pretty cool underground which was once a water reservoir built in the ‘20s. There are more than 200 concrete pillars where photographers love to get their best shots. If you want some Instagram-esque pictures, you might want to add this place to your list.
National Museum Of Funeral History
It is not the regular museum consisting of artifacts and old relics but a strange museum hosting tons of artifacts about the history of funeral services in the country.
